Here are some of the people and stories that make us do what we do.  Keeping people and their pets together is our motto!

When I heard of POOPS I thought they are amazing for those who can’t get out and walk their dog. People can stay in their homes and keep their dogs... It would be very hard if Jet didn’t have walkers. He is very content at home, but he needs to get out and walk.

Kerry can’t speak highly enough of POOPS as an organisation, and as an idea. POOPS is “an extraordinary concept… that people would be so generous with their time for people who are unable to do the right thing by their animals,” Kerry says. “I can’t think of a more positive, community-oriented, caring service for animals… it’s unbelievable”.

I think it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me since I’ve been here, because before I was getting really down, not down in the dumps but you’re just on your own a lot and now I’ve got people coming nearly every day. Sophie and I have a very busy life meeting people and I love meeting people I really do. To read more about Ann and how she came to be a POOPS client

Ray
Say hello to our darling Ray! Ray is a character. He is playful, affectionate, confident and what you might call a little boisterous. Maureen tells us as a puppy he wasn't much different: "A real monkey when it came to his personality, but I think that's what attracted me to him. I wanted a dog with personality and he's got oodles of it as you can see". To read more about the story of Maureen and her little monkey Ray

Being without transport, I know if I have an emergency, she (volunteer Jane L) would take me to the vet, she’s become more of a friend to me now and I think the world of her and I think the whole concept of POOPS is marvelous and I know there are many people, particularly older people who live for their dogs and as long as the dogs are taken care of that’s their main worry.
